囡的课上主老师叫Mrs Zahn，今天收到她发给家长的有关孩子上学的各项事宜的信。信很长，写得非常详细，很多小的提示可以看出老师很认真，心很细。
比如在Birthdays这一项，她特别说明：“In addition, please do not hand out birthday invitations at school. Children are acutely aware of who is and is not invited. Sending invitations by mail is a good way of preventing hurt feelings."
班上会有个"Family Reading Wednesdays"的活动，"Parents are invited on Wednesdays (8:45 - 8:55) to stay and read with your child for the first 10 minutes of school.。。。)听起来很不错哦，非常期待。
老师特别提到："Children will participate in a minimum of 15 minutes of physical activity each day. Please dress your child in layers and be sure they have appropriate shoes each day."
每周一和四是GYM DAY。周二是LIBRARY DAY。其它日程老师每月会发MONTHLY SCHEDULE。
随信附了SCHOLASTIC的九月书单。（同学们有什么特别推荐，尽快告诉我哈。。。）
今天囡说上课讲了"Chicka Chicka Boom Boom"，然后大家做了一个树，把每个小朋友的名字帖在上面，让每个名字都CHICKA BOOM。。
接囡的时候，听到老师特别强调要给孩子带SNACK。后来囡告诉我：班上有个女生没有带SNACK，昨天也没有带，连水都没带，她的书包里只有一条裤子！。。。这个女生的父母，可真是够晕哦！

生日这点各学校基本都一样。
全职妈妈期待的和我这上班的就是不一样。好好enjoy吧。
书单你看九月的list不就可以了？怎么还要推荐？
不知道你以前买过没有。它家的游戏类东西都很小，所以才便宜。
书单上百本书呢。以前没从这单子上买过，能从图书馆借到的书，除非特经典的，我都不会买的。
Nick's school says only send invitations through school if you are inviting everyone in class :)
Nick told me a couple of mornings: Mom, i don't want snack. Don't pack it for me.
Why?
I want to play. i am not hungry.
Are there any kids not eating snack?
Yes.
I hesitated a moment. but then I packed any way. I said:
You don;t have to eat it if you are really not hungry, just leave it in the bag. Just cereal and water, it's ok to leave them there. Don;t throw them away, just bring it back.
So far, every, he ate them :)
我们从来没给多多带snack，连水也没带，裤子也没有！
哦，这星期开始给他带水了。
他们学校没有snack time。开学前的Parent information meeting上，校长说了，they really don't have time for snack。说早上如果吃好早餐，中午11点就吃饭，下午3点半放学，不一定要吃snack的。我完全同意！我们周末在家每顿饭之间也不吃snack。正好又给我省事了。
11点半吃饭。
